• Hard to say. Depends on the make-up of your garage walls (eg. metal framed drywall is not good for wireless signals). I have my extender approx. 30ft from the main wi-fi router and behind two walls, and it has brought a really strong signal to that remote area where the signal was really weak before.

• The RE4100W has the capability to extend the wireless signal of your router up to 7500 sq. ft, but you may have to consider the physical obstructions and the distance between the router and the connected devices.
