• This adapter will receive both 2.4 and 5.0 ghz. I want just plug it into your tv and check the settings on your tv to see if it works. If your tv is a smart tv, I would think it already is WiFi enabled, you would just go to settings and log on. If that’s the case and your tv might only have 2.4ghz and not 5.0ghz, by adding this device you would be able to get 5.0ghz
