• The set up should be fine so long as the laptop run Windows® 7, Windows®8.1, or Windows®10.

• As long as the problem is due to something being physically wrong with the existing WiFi card then this would fix the issue. If the problem is due to a software bug in Windows then may not. I would suggest that you get this card to test and see and if it does not work simply return it. If it didn’t work take your PC to the Geek Squad and let them take care of it.
