• yes, the adapter will work in most smart tv's, the autosense from the device to tv starts automatically, and starts scanning for the Wi-Fi signals. If the driver does not work, use a usb version two, female to male adaptor cable, since the tv sensor will use a secondary driver in usb 2 mode..
