“Does this work on MacBook? If i have ZERO access to a WiFi or any kind of internet service can i use this instead of paying a cable company for WiFi? I just need some type of internet connection for my laptop since i don’t have access to WiFi”

• This doesn't work with MacBook, Chris. The Linksys WUSB6100M Adapter is only compatible to work with Windows OS, and this is just a receiver of your Wi-Fi internet so it still needs a router and an internet service provider.

• No, you’ll need a WiFi connection in order to use this adapter. However, if you have a laptop there is already a built in wifi connectivity feature. The only reason you would want to use this adapter on a laptop is if you need a stronger connection to your internet. Also, yes it works on any laptop or desktop that has a USB port.

• No. You must have a wifi signal, whether it be yours, a free service or know someones wifi password. It works only off an existing wifi service.
