Placement, placement, placement. It will do what you want if it is the right place. Except through metal.... the signal does not pass through metal well. don't put it next to ductwork.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have a wood floor and can position in close enough proximity to the router it should work OK. If you expect to put it at the other end of the house and expect it to pick up the signal that might be asking a bit much.
