Metal is kryptonite to WIFI. put the extender in a window with line of site .... put a window in if necessary! or run a hard line out to the building then it will work great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is going to be a little far to travel, can you pick up the wifi at all in the building like on your phone or anything? If it is a weak signal that is probably your answer. It has to have a signal in order to boost it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't tried to operate any Wi-Fi device inside of a metal building. If the situation allows, try bringing in a spare standard Wi-Fi router and see how well it behaves. It should give an idea on what to expect with the RE9000.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi. The signal of your main connection may not reach the range extender since the metal build may cause too much signal interference which would lead to intermittent connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No idea.
