• Yes it can, I just added three dual band nodes to an existing tri-band three node system. Ending in a successful six node velop system with multi bands...It works perfectly.

• Short answer is yes. I bridged the Linksys to my WiFi router. So I just have one SSID throughout the house. The Linksys will run both 2.4 and 5Ghz simultaneously.
