Quick answer, YES. If a AC2600 (mine) can cover my house of over 4,000 sq ft & is rated at up 3,000 sq ft, then you have 3 nodes to cover up to 4500 sq ft. So far all my devices load quicker than the router I had before. The nodes are to be placed 15-30 ft from the parent & have distinct color indicators to show if it shakes hands with the nearest node (parent or child). Of course one has to consider any heavy obstacles/barriers in between nodes to successfully operate.
