“Is there a performance enhancement if the node and the extenders are connected by wire through a router rather than over the air?”

• I can’t imagine getting any better performance out of this device. I have 5 tv’s in 5 rooms, a desktop computer, a laptop, Alexa, Netflix, Amazon Fire Stick, 2 tablets and two phones running wireless, and no buffering.

• Hi, Snap. Yes. Wiring nodes together can increase the range and speed of your Velop system and reduce the risk of wireless interference. However, the Velop Range Extenders are only wireless.
