“I have smart home devices that require a 2.4 connection. With my current Linksys router, I have to turn off band steering and use a separate 2.4 network for them. Will this router be able to run these devices on 2.4 without turning off band steering?”

• Hi. The Velop MX4000 Series Wi-Fi 6 System will only broadcast one Wi-Fi name for the entire network but, you can customize the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band settings.

• I had no issues with any of my smart devices that are on the 2.4 GHZ, the router seems to handle keeping them where they need to be well.
