• >Does this give me better WiFi? The purpose of a WiFi extender is to improve the signal strength beyond where your router will reach. E.g., in our house, the router's signal strength was excellent on the 2nd floor where it's located, but was weaker on the first floor and basement rec-room. So, I put this Linksys router on the first floor and that improved signal strength where it was weak (1st floor and basement). So, in that sense it gives you a "better WiFi".

• It will not improve your WiFi speed but will give you better coverage and stronger signal which can help speeds where your signal is weak. Speed will never be fast then what your base router is.

• Yes. However, Wi-Fi performance will vary due to several factors, like the distance, volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, operating system used, and mix of wireless products used
