Hello, The SD+ systems use Skype for remote access. If there is an official Skype app for your smartphone platform (iOS and Android both have one), you can connect to your system remotely in the same way you would connect from a remote computer. In order to use Skype on your smartphone to connect to the system, you must perform the full setup for connecting to your camera from a remote computer on pg. 38 of the manual (available for download here: http://www.lorextechnology.com/Home-security-cameras-and-Wireless-home-camera-systems/Home-video-surveillance-system-monitor/prod340001.p#downloadsTab).
