The Jitterbug Great Call service uses Verizon towers. When I first tried to activate from Kalispell, MT the website and customer support said service was not available for that area. But then I entered zip code for Columbia Falls 5 miles away and it worked just fine with "GOOD" signal. So if you buy one and can't activate it, try a nearby zip code and you just might be fine. Look at a Verizon coverage map or check for a friend's cell phone in your area that uses Verizon.

That doesn’t have great service. I have close access to Verizon towers. I only have a smart phone, not a landline and what else do they offer? I want simplicity which I don’t find with my iPhone. What do you offer?
