Great question. All new (originally purchased) Jitterbug Flip2 phones, and batteries come with a one-year warranty that protects against manufacturing defects. If the product should fail within the first year due to a manufacturing defect, the product would be replaced by Lively. The warranty does not cover user error or user damage. The warranty is not transferable to a different end-user.
