The Lively Flip phone utilizes the Triple tap method of text messaging or with the Alexa feature fully set-up, you can voice to text. You can find the instructions for text messaging on page 53 and Alexa set-up on page 75 of the user guide.

Default text mode- choose Main Menu, then Settings. Select Text Mode and press OK. Select text entry mode and press OK. You can use Quick Text and the phone predicts the word you want to use. Otherwise you have to tap the key the number of times to select the letters you want to type. You can choose all lowercase, all capitals, numeric or Abc where first letter is capitalized. Then tap OK. If this is too finicky, try the Lively smart phone.
