I got this for my parents, btu found out the service is provided by Great Call themselves which uses Verizon services. I'm not sure if you can change it out or not. You may want to contact AT&T and ask them if they have any of these phones running on their service. Just call 611 from your phone and ask a rep. I'm sure they would be happy to sell you one if they do!
