Hello, great question. Yes, you can make international calls from the US with your Jitterbug Smart3 phone. Calls to Germany are charged $0.07 cents for each minute of the call. In addition, regular plan minutes are also deducted for the length of the call. If you would like, you can use a calling card but be sure that the International Calling Card uses a local domestic number or toll free 800 number to begin the call. Regular plan minutes will again be deducted for the length of the call. You also have the option of using a video calling/chat application, such as the WhatsApp which is preinstalled. You can find all video calling/chat applications in the Google Play Store. When using these apps, we suggest you connect to wi-fi when possible and the person you are calling must also be using the application.
