Hello Nick, good question. The only reason we would ask for the last 4 of your social security number is if you are transferring your phone number from a previous carrier. It is a system requirement and if it does not match what the previous carrier has, the transfer maybe delayed. Please rest assured that we take great care in protecting all of your information.
