You need to contact both Verizon and Lively... Verizon needs to provide what`s called a port out pin #. If, your old phone and Verizon are still active, they can text you this pin#... That allows you to keep your old#... In the mean time, Lively will provide a temporary phone#. For me, it took circa 8 hours to get my old # transferred to Lively. Plus you have to set up an online account with Lively. I only briefly had tried Verizon/Visible and Lively is so, much better for Customer service and activation thus far...
