Hi Jackie, Please see below the steps to clean the waffle maker. Cleaning Your Livwell Fixed Plate Waffle Maker The Livwell waffle maker features a fixed-plate design that ensures optimal heat transfer for superior cooking performance. To keep your unit in top condition, follow these simple cleaning steps: 1. Unplug and Cool Slightly Turn off and unplug the unit. Allow it to cool until warm—not hot—as residue is easier to remove before it fully hardens. 2. Remove Loose Crumbs Use a soft kitchen towel or a gentle brush (such as a Scrub Daddy) to clear crumbs from the grooves. 3. Wipe with a Damp Cloth or Brush Lightly dampen a cloth or sponge with warm water (wet, but not soaking) and gently wipe the plates. • Avoid dripping water into the appliance • Never submerge the unit in water 4. For Stubborn Residue (Optional) Place a damp paper towel on the plates and close the lid for a few minutes to allow steam to loosen stuck-on batter. Then wipe clean. 5. Dry Thoroughly Wipe with a dry cloth or leave the unit open to air dry completely before storing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
