• I would just close the vent-- if you cannot do that then just pay attention.

• It might. I live in south FL and I have the AC at full blast and my phone gets freezing cold, so I assume it would get hot with the heat on.

• I just close that particular vent. If you keep your phone in direct heat you run the risk of overheating it.

• I haven't had it long enough to use during the winter but I do close the vent that I have my phone mounted against when I have the ac on. I will definitely do the same when I have the heat on.
