They no longer are Carl Zeiss certified, but Logitech claims they contain the exact same optics that they always have used. Sounds like someone didn't wan't to pay for "Zeiss" certification on the 920's anymore. You can still find Carl Zeiss certification on some of Logitech's other model cameras.
