• depends. if you have a smart TV you may be able to run a driver update with the webcam when you plug it in to use skype, would recommend going over with manufacturer to see if they support webcam attachments onto your smart TV. the usual process is people have micro computers, EX. a mac mini plugged into their TV to display, and the webcam would be connected to the mac mini and a skype call can be used that way.
