• Hi Tony - I have the 7th generation iPad. The reason that I think it may NOT be compatible with the 6th generation iPad is that I don't think the 6th generation has the smart connector (located on the left side of the tablet). I think this smart connector was new on the 7th Gen. to connect to the keyboard.
