A:AnswerI have a black Logitech one for my 9.7, but it's not EXACTLY the same. The keys aren't backlit, and the case isn't charged by the ipad, but with an android charger.
A:AnswerThere is no standard USB port on the device (there are some adaptors available) that would allow connection of a keyboard, however, I have not tested these. This keyboard does attach to the unit and provide a stand to hold the device upright and at a comfortable angle, this may meet your requirements for making reading easier....it works for me.
A:AnswerI do not get the impression that the case sold particularly well for the larger iPad. A big selling point when that one came out was that you can use it in the place of a laptop. I never got the impression that anybody would use the smaller iPad in the same way.
A:AnswerThis unit is for the 12.9" iPad Pro. Not certain about what would qualify it as a "smart" keyboard, this is generally up to the operator :-). It does have some shortcut keys to control device functions like audio volume, play/pause, etc.
