Yes it can use the same dongle for both the mouse and the keyboard. You may need to download the Logitech unifying software to make it all work but I’m completely wireless with two Logitech devices with one usb dongle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The keyboard comes with a dongle but it connects wirelessly with bluetooth if you don't want to use the dongle (I don't use the dongle). A mouse does not come with the keyboard, so it would be an entirely separate device, whether wired, USB dongle, or bluetooth wireless.

If you're looking to purchase the K860 keyboard, you can either use the USB receiver or Bluetooth (to save on a USB port). I would recommend looking at mice and keyboards that have Bluetooth or our Unifying receiver. You can identify a Unifying receiver by the orange star on the USB receiver. - Maggie from Logitech
