I think it depends on the computer you're using it with. I have not had this issue with macOS. Download the Logitech software and see if you can configure it in there. Some computers allow left space to serve an alternate function, like a bonus key.

Can't say that I have heard that no, but I'd suggest (if you haven't done so already) downloading the free Logitech Options software https://www.logitech.com/en-ca/product/options and see if there are any firmware updates available possibly, and also try unpairing the keyboard from the device it's connected to (if connected via Bluetooth), and re-do the pairing to see if that might solve the problem.
