You will need to buy an adapter to get it down to one plug. I found a decent one on another large online retailer, it was not expensive. I don't mind needing the adapter because my desktop does not have a combo(mic/speaker) jack but my laptop does. If you like this headset but don't want to get an adapter, look at the g231. It's basically the same but with a single combo jack

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This unit did not come with any adapters. If your laptop has a single headphone jack, you will either need an adapter to combine the two plugs from the headphones to one, or a usb adapter. Hope this helps. Cheers!
