• I know when I use the earpods - I am still able to use the built-in microphone that is in Oculus 2. I know when I was using You Tube VR even with the earpods in, I was able to request a show name through built in microphone of Oculus 2.

• Yes. I use these buds and they work great. No mic but the built in set work just fine alone with the buds.
