• ON PC it uploads when you connect heaphones and on PS4 automatically.

• You can plug it in and it's all good to go. There's an online download so you can customize your sound more, but completely optional.

• I did have to download an update for my PC but not for my Xbox... assuming the PC download got it running good for all devices
