Yes it works with cell phones. It includes a cable with built in mic/call answer. Music and calls sound great on my iPhone 6s

It works on iPad, so I would assume it would work with iPhone. It would probably work with other mobile devices but I don’t have any non Apple mobile electronics so sorry. :(
