Yes but it has to be switched on, if you plug it in but the mouse is switched off it won't work until you turn it on, it will however still charge

Yup, there are no issues with using it while connected to the charging cable. I wouldn't advise getting the wireless version if you don't plan on using it as a wireless mouse though, the wired G502 would fit that usage pattern way more and costs quite a bit less.

Absolutely not! It can be used via Bluetooth or an adapter but it comes with a cable that doubles as its charger. In my opinion the best mouse in its class!
