• It does have a loud clicking sound. If you want a silent clicking mouse, I recommend "Logitech - MX Master 3S Wireless".

• Loud - no... Silent - no. It's a mouse and clicks like a mouse. They typically have displays in the stores so try one there and see if you think it is too loud. I think it's fine but I also use a mechanical keyboard.
