• At the time of writing this the g512 SE only comes with clicky blue switches, has a silver G logo, and the housing is a slightly different shade of grey. The G512 has a choice of three different switches (linear, tactile, and clicky).

• The only difference I know regards the USB cable. the SE model (mine) has a standard thick plastic coated cable, whereas the g512 (also called Carbon) has a braided cable. There may be other differences, but that is the one I know.
