I am sure you can use it with a laptop, but I wouldn't. The battery life isn't long enough. It just dies too quickly. If you are looking to keep the cord connected, I guess it's fine.

Please try again later.This mouse is used with a desk top & I have no problems being that there are no wires connected to the computer there for I do not see why it would not work with a laptop all it takes is to plug the chip into where a mouse with a cord would go that is all I had to do
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this mouse on a mid 2010 Mac Book Pro laptop. I use it in both OS X and Windows 7. I play an MMO (Neverwinter) on the windows software and it works fine. I have found the Logitech software to be a bit flakey though.
