• The "GL Tactile" and this "GL Linear" will be quite switches that will not bother anyone. The "GL Clicky" is the loud switch.

• I would not classify this keyboard as a "quiet" keyboard. It's still got a fair bit of clicky-ness to it. Not as loud as other mechanical keyboards, but it will still be heard clearly by your neighbors in a room.
