I don't think this mouse would be a good choice personally. I think you would be better off finding a palm grip mouse. this mouse is a claw grip so the thumb plays an important roll in the control and maneuverability of the mouse. If you can find a palm grip mouse that would be a better option. Palm grip mice are more based off controlling with the palm than a claw grip is because claw grip mice tend to use the thumb and ring finger for movement.
