To be fair most mouses aren’t usable on any surface. Unless it has a track ball. Things like glass, some wood, steel and uneven surfaces are things that really cause issues with a mouse, even hard books will cause issues from time to time. My point is you always want to use a mouse pad and no you don’t need a really expensive mouse pad, any mouse pad will do. Lastly make sure your mouse area is flat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pretty much, the PMW 3366 is just a really good optical sensor. I tried playing on my leg and it worked. I wouldn’t really recommend doing that though. Either way, you don’t need a mousepad to go along with the mouse but I’d still buy one for home use just because of the smooth feeling.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been using it on a fabric mouse pad, but it works accurately on my glass desk
