If the Harmony has been programmed correctly for your TV, and you have setup the activities correctly, then you need to press the help button. The remote will go thru a series of questions to correct, and learn the problem. If the activity is not working as expected, always press the Help button.

Then the big power button in the top left of the remote should shut both off at the same time. I programmed mine just once and it shuts of the tv, the cable box, and my sound bar all with the push of one button. Hope this helps you?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, You must set the remote up to work for the TV by infra red only from the remote only not from the hub or it will not turn on and off the tv. Unless you have one of the IR sprayers in front of the TV. When keeping all other electronics remotely mounted in a closet or rack out of the room this is tough. I have to splice into a cat 5 wire to make it really work right. You can use other eyes from Xantech or other logitech eyes and splice it in to make it work if you have the wires ran. Then the Ipad or Iphone can do everything. Otherwise use the remote to turn on the system and then use the ipad or iphone to control once the system is on but you will have to use the remote to shut the TV off. good luck, Dave

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you want to turn on/off your DVR and TV at the same time, you can set up a "Watch TV Activity" in the Logitech software. In the software you can program the "Watch TV" button to turn on/off all of your devices at once.
