• Works with our DirecTV DVR so I would think it would be fine for Dish also.

• I have the same DVR. Works great. Can't remember the last time I used the remote that came with it.

• It should work fine with the Dish VIP622 DVR. Make sure that the settings are set for IR and not UHF wireless.

• Check the Logitech website for this model remote. The compatibility wizard is great for looking up device compatibility.

• Yes it should it did on mine when I had Dish network.

• Had issues in the past with this remote. Last I checked, it should work with most TV services. I have an old DirectTV dish and it worked. Only problem was with the electronic setup I have. Too many devices. I have another one with which I use for my gaming and Samsung TV and Sound Bar. That works perfectly.
