• Hello, the 665 will definitely be able to control the volume on the Sony TV. Without knowing the model of the amplifier, there is no way to tell if it will be able to controlled by the Harmony remote.

• Check Logitech's web site to see what devices are supported. My old Sony AV receiver was on the list of supported devices. Even if not on their list, the device still may be supported.
