• Go to Logitech Harmony's website and download the software. Then connect via USB to the remote and follow the step by step instructions. Need to know all your make and model numbers of what you are going to setup. Also helpful to have the original remotes as this remote can learn IR signals if needed..

• You download a free app from the Logitech website called MyHarmony. From there, you open up the app and type in the devices you have. Then the apps walks you through setting up macros (like what needs to be on when you watch TV, or use a DVD, or play Xbox). It's not too bad. Then after that, if you wish, you can specially program buttons for each device. I have yet to find this last step to be necessary and I have the remote running 7 devices.
