• Yes it will. I lost the remote to my Bose Cinimate GS system and bought this one to replace it. It works great.

• I use it with a Bose sound bar. However, I had to use the "Learn" mode to get the control to work properly. I think it likely to be the same for a theater system with many more functions than I have.
