• The PS3 has bluetooth and this remote doesn't work with that. Logitech has/had an adapter that can be used to receive IR signal and convert to BT so the PS3 can be controlled with it. But out the box it won't work with your PS3. Should work fine with the TV.

• You can control individual devices but, would need an elite remote with the hub to control the PS3. It's a Bluetooth device

• Unfortunately I have not been able to figure out a way for it to work the Sony product. I have dealt with Best Buy and Sony and neither can come up with a way for it to work either. I do not know about the PS3.

• The PS3 is a Bluetooth device while this is an infrared device, hence it will not work with the PS3.
