• I use my phone charger to recharge the battery in this remote. It is the same connection, micro USB, and works just fine.

• I have been able to use other mobile device chargers with my 700. You could also remove the Li-Ion batteries and install some Alkaline batteries. Just make sure that others in your house know that you have done that..

• It should work with any charger (wall or car) where you can plug in the USB connector. I use the same universal wall charger for it that I use for my portable phone and iPad.
