• I don't believe so, Bob...from what I can gleam from the interwebs the original remote supplied with the TV is RF, or radio frequency, meaning it communicates not by infrared light, but by radio waves higher in the spectrum than our AM and FM radio stations etc. Unfortunately, the 700 is an Infrared Only device, and though it is a great piece, it wouldn't fill your particular needs.

• Probably not. I looked at the TV, and it uses the Alexa voice remote, which is not an IR remote. This remote only controls IR devices, I don't see anywhere that is has an IR sensor, so unless I missed it somewhere, it won't work.
