“Dear Reader, I do not own a “Smart TV”, all the programs I can access like you tube, Amazon, Google, Netflix, Sling, Are preprogrammed thru the compatibile Blu Ray DVD player (all Samsung ) My question is if will the remote work? I live in Mexico. Thanks”

It will if your Blu-ray player is supported within the software setup. I have an Blu-ray Samsung player and it works it just fine and it's an odder model.
