• You can use your laptop to program it, which is what I did. You have to download the harmony app and connect the hub to your laptop via USB and you will be able to program all your devices using the laptop. I don't think you can use your laptop as a remote, however.

• Yes you can use it with your laptop if it has bluetooth.
