Yes, because it's Wifi It wound control your TV through a wooden door though. You need to have IR leads draped everywhere for it to shoot.

Yes. The remote itself doesn't do the controlling really. It's the Hub that sends the signal to the devices so all you need to do is make sure the hub is in the same room as the device you wish to control

Yes. If you set up the Hub and blasters so that the remote uses Radio vs IR. It works great and you dont need to point.

Yes it will work through a wooden door. Mine works through a wall with a built in fireplace and brick facing or through the solid oak door to the room behind the fireplace. Just make sure you place the sensors in the right place in front of your components (cd/receiver).

Recognize the the Hub acts as an IR blaster and will bounce the IR signal off the closed doors and back to your equipment.
